As a community, Alma Angels invest in teams with at least 1 women founder with significant ownership, meaning double digit. We have invested in a lot of gender-diverse teams. They must be building building tech-driven or IP-rich businesses with global ambitions.

No, we are a probono community. Some angels are very experienced, some are newer to angel investing - all bound by the passion and commitment to support women founders. We encourage every member to become fully-fledged angels. Each Alma Angel conducts their own due diligence and makes their own investment decision, although we often look at deals collectively and can co-invest via SPVs. We try to save time to the founders by doing group calls.

You will get better traction with the community if you get support from an existing Alma Angel. You can reach out to many of them on LinkedIn or meet them at events. If you would rather share your raise directly, you can reach out to the Alma team here.

We are not gatekeepers and there is no pitch - part of Alma's mission is to break the “access to capital” barrier so we share the information you send with the community and leave it to each individual to connect if they find it interesting.

If there is a lot of interest, Alma Angels group together to save time for the founder as well as the angels and we will organise a group due diligence call.
