We know what it takes to get started. Alma College was developed over a five-year period within the Alma Angels community with 30 to 40 educational events each year.
Since 2019, we have been on a mission to grow the pool of diverse cheque writers, and in that time, we have trained more than 550 angel investors.

The Alma College is open to all genders, just like the Alma community champions diversity. Still less than 14% of angels in UK and Europe are women, and people of colour are widely underrepresented.
Alma believes that creating a more diverse pool of cheque writers builds a stronger and healthier ecosystem, where all founders will thrive - irrespective of gender, skin colour, social background, age and sexual orientation.
Throughout the programs, we focus due diligence practice on tech and IP-rich ventures (co)founded by women with global ambitions. Alma Angels see a very strong business case to invest in women and gender-diverse teams:

Yes, the Alma College is tailored for senior professionals. We can blend both physical and virtual engagement to maximise flexibility and impact. Sessions are never longer than 2 hours and we can also run some of the sessions evenings or weekends, if that’s preferred.
We know that a challenge to increase the representation of senior women leaders in the room is childcare: we are partnering with CocoRio, provider of creative childcare and nanny agency, so that parents can attend the Alma College worry-free. They can use the code ALMA20 for 20% off their first booking all over London and beyond. CocoRio also organises on-site childcare services for corporate events.

The cost depends on the chosen workshop or program. It is usually financed by the Learning & Development budget of your company. Get in touch to explore different ways to collaborate.
